After Angie’s blog post on denim trends, I decided to create a ‘denim’ capsule with my Finds. That got me thinking about chambray.

Here’s a definition of chambray: Chambray is a cotton plain-weave fabric made with a dyed warp yarn and a white filling yarn. Chambray is traditionally light blue in color, but can be found in a wide range of fashion colors. While it may look like denim, chambray is lighter and is woven differently.

When considering elements of style, do you lump chambray items in with denim, or consider them something else entirely? Same for ‘denim look’ sweat pants or other faux denim items.
