Quality and fit of Boden sweaters?

Several sweaters in the latest Boden catalogue caught my eye, but the fabric composition gave me pause: 35% cotton, 30% viscose, 22% nylon, 8% cashmere, 5% angora rabbit hair. I seem to remember a discussion on the (de)merits of angora in sweaters, something about angora shedding badly? Does anyone have experience with Boden sweaters containing angora? How do they hold up to washing and wearing over time? The prices are definitely at my upper limit for knits, so I would want something with some longevity. Also, do their sweaters tend to fit snugly, or are they a bit more boxy? Thanks in advance for sharing your experience!

I have no answers to share but will be following this because I have been curious about the Boden sweaters in general and how they hold up and fit. I have never gone ahead and ordered one because they seem boxy to me in the catalog but I love some of the patterns.

Hi, I've just looked up the fabric of my new cardigan (not Boden) but the composition sounded similar to yours and here it is:
33% cotton, 28% polyamide, 28% viscose, 6% angora, 5% cashmere

I haven't noticed bad shedding yet.

Wilson, I am always wary of ordering sweaters online or from a catalogue, because many times they end up being boxier than the photos would indicate.

I wouldn't know. To be honest, my cardigan was so lovely and soft and in such a beautiful shade of purple, that I think I'd buy it even if there was fear of shedding But I don't wear it every day and look after it well.
Generally, when shopping I always check the labels and fabric composition, my mum worked in textile industry and taught me a thing or two And mixes like this one would never make me suspicious of the quality, in fact - quite the opposite.

I too would like to know more about shedding though, now that it's been mentioned.

Re. quality: I have several sweaters and they seem to have held up well.

Re. fit: they actually offer individual measurements for every size of every garment on their website, so you can see exactly what size garment you are ordering. I find this very helpful in thinking about the boxy issue, or if you are between sizes.
