body typing is tricky...maybe it would help to put on some fitted workout clothes and look in the mirror. See if your upper body and lower body look visually balanced, or if your upper body looks smaller (measurements are helpful too, but I think that sometimes people with similar measurements carry their weight a little differently). I think that the main purpose of knowing your body type is to know where you're off balance (if you are) and to dress to bring your body back into balance. Basically making yourself appear more hourglass, not long or short waisted etc.
From your measurements, it sounds like you have a defined waist. From doing some reading, I learned something that was helpful to me -- some people have high hips, and a "shelf" like curve from waist to hip, while others have lower hips and a more gentle curve from waist to hip. It's the 8 versus X shape. I figured out that I am an X shape (not the voluptuous archetypical hourglass), maybe that's the case for you too? It depends on whether your shoulders and hips are of a similar width, not on your bust to hip measurements.
BTW, I love your WIW's, you have such great style and always look great! So it seems like you're already pretty good at dressing your shape
