Python-print handbag -- how trendy?

I'm into the python-print handbags that are popular this spring:

Do you think I could wear these types of bags for longer than a few seasons? I don't like to buy handbags that I can only wear for a few years. I am partial to the colored (blue, red) variety

In a neutral, I think they will be wearable for a very long time. In bright colors the look is more trendy.

Love the look. While the colors are fun, I think that the last two you posted will last you a lot longer and won't go out of style. The bags you linked to actually seem really versatile.

Cathy, I like them! I bought an inexpensive Steve Madden clutch in a silver and black python print at the Macy's sale today. I might pair it tonight with my black sheath.
