Do any of you use purse insert organizers like the one below to make switching from bag to bag easier? If so, is there a particular brand/style you recommend?
I like the pretty colors they come in. I recommend NOT getting black, because stuff is easier to find in your purse against a lighter or brighter color.
My dd purchased one for me -- in black! I can't see a thing, but I do like the convenience. One thing I do like -- I have them in two sized. One fits my smaller cross bodies, the other my bigger satchels or hobos.
I have seen them near the purses at Payless Shoes - pretty inexpensive if you just want to try one out w/o big cash layout.
I have been putting my little items in a clear cosmetic bag to keep them all together and then I just have that, wallet, phone and umbrella to grab out.
I don't use an insert, but I do use a lightweight plastic cosmetic-type case to hold small essentials since I pared down my handbag loads to help save my back and shoulders. So basically when I change purses, I'm just moving my wallet, business card case, the cosmetic bag, eyeglass case, iPhone and keys. Works for me!
Ditto Christieanne and Janet - I just use a clear ziploc bag for loose items, plus wallet, cell phone and keys. Pretty easy to switch it from purse to purse.
You gals are brilliant! It doesn't get much simpler than plastic baggies or makeup cases. I'm going to try those first, since I have them around the house. Thank you.
I tried the kangaroo insert and it just doesn't work for me, so I too use small, snack size zip-locs and small make up cases. I like to pull out the whole bag and look. The kagaroo didn't allow for that. I think that it was purely a preference.
