Purple Shoes:

I purchased a pair of purple flats with a small kitten heel I was tired of the traditional black I have to many to I decided to add a little twist to my shoe collection. So my dilemma was matching the darn shoe to an outfit so today I wore all black with a deep pink scarf which really looks almost purple but now I want to wear them again and I'm stuck on how to match it to other outfits.

I think they would look good with a pair of dark wash jeans and tops in colors like black, teal and maybe even red. If you have any patterned tops with purple you could wear that with black pants and jeans.

I think of purple as almost a neutral...as much as red. You'll get lots of wear out of them.

I also think of dark purple as almost neutral. I have purple shoes and wear them a lot. On the bottom with dark jeans, greys, black, brown, navy, small patterns in neutrals. On the top, in addition to neutrals, you can wear all the purples, teal, aqua, deep pink, dark forest green, blue-red etc. And I like to add yellow in small dose as a bright accent!

Apart from all the other colours mentioned I also like wearing my purples with olive green pants as well as chocolate brown.

And I know Angie has said they are out now, but I love wearing kitten heels with bermuda shorts to jazz them up a bit too if you're looking for ideas other than pants to match them with!
