What a drizzly week it is! Somehow with a gray sky, wearing bright turquoise and yellow seemed too high contrast so instead I opted for cobalt blue or grape purple with berry accents, and some black as well.
1. Cobalt and white striped knit blazer, berry pink tee, black circle midi skirt, burgundy mesh tights and burgundy pumps with long pearl necklace.
2. Purple hi-low hem dress with magenta cardigan, black beaded necklaces, and colorful tweed and black patent ballet flats.
In retrospect I wished I'd paired the outfit in 2 with my orange pumps. That color combination would have rocked my socks. Well, something to try later!
3 is a bonus shot from this weekend. My sister and I encountered a woman who was taking her rather large tortoise (or turtle?) for a walk at the lake, which I thought was too amusing not to share. Apparently they enjoy the taste of buttercups.
