It was all so very last minute! DH had flipped her the e-mail. His golf buddy Ron, had been partnered with Patty when he showed up as a singleton at the Community Center bridge night. They had hit it off, and moved in together. That was 10 years ago! The e-mail announced they were going to 'make it legal' and she and DH were invited to the wedding! Patty's kids, Ron's brother, and a few friends. It was to be a destination wedding in the Carribean!
Last month's bouquet had become her iPad screensaver. Inspired by the colours, including Panetone's colour of the year, she got to work putting together her travel capsule.
(Inspired by Rambling Ann's 'Ocean Park Project' from last year, I am posting a monthly thread about an imaginary heroine for whom I get to shop! A photo of a bouquet of flowers, the Panatone colour of the year, and a new pair of lavender and green specs have informed my colour palette).
