I ordered these yesterday (had an expiring coupon). They are Aersoles and one of my most comfortable pairs of heels are that brand, so I figured it was worth the chance.

What do you think?

Do you think they'll work with my straight legs or skinnies? Just curious. Not sure my "eye" has this part figured out. Will they be a bit clunky for those jeans?

(Obviously these will work beautifully with my charcoal grey tulip skirt... but I rarely wear skirts and dresses during the colder months).

Definitely! Especially if you pull the skinnies just slightly over the heel, you'll get a great leg elongating effect. They would also work great with a denim/cord/tweed skirt, sweater dress, any dress pants and bootcut jeans. Very versatile!

I really like these shoes! Tanya makes some great suggestions. The only issue I can see with wearing them with skinnies/straight leg jeans is the mary jane styling. The strap over the top of your foot might not show or get in the way or something. I don't think it's bad, you should definitely give it a try.

Yeah, Ana, that was my worry too... but we'll see. I couldn't help giving it a shot because I had that coupon, and as I said, my most comfy pair of heels in my closet are this brand... with similar rounded toe, too. I think aerosoles run on the wide side, which is good for me.

Happylife, $23 doesn't sound right!! Wow! Maybe there's some way you can hunt down a free-shipping coupon? I used an online coupon I got in the mail. I live near a Macy's but there's no way I'm getting to it anytime soon, so I figured I'd give this a shot. I also have a bunch of in-store only coupons, so if they don't work out, I can return and go shopping with the coupons.

I thought the petite clothes online at macys.com were completely uninspiring at the moment; I think they have better selection in the store!

I like them a lot Shiny! And I don't think there will be a problem with your straight leg jeans. The strap might get a bit in the way with the skinnies, but it will depend on the jeans in question. Definitely give them a try!

I tried these on with my client today. They were quite comfy. Looked quite nice with my skinnies. But I came home with these in distressed pewter instead and they are INCREDIBLE. The picture looks awful and the colour I have, which they don’t show on the site, makes them fabulous - but you’ll get the idea:

I really like those, Angie. Are they "skirt worthy" ? I'm still on the hunt for a pair of closed toe low vamp shoes I can wear on interviews. I'd prefer something more than just a plain pump. I like the chunky sole and the strap, but not sure if those features make them too clunky to wear with skirts??

Shiny, I can totally picture you in those spectators. Very chic and of the moment. Be sure to take some photos when you get them.

Oh! An unexpected positive reaction on my new shoes. The picture makes them look a little dowdy . They are wonderful though. Trust me.

Quite right, HL. I’ve just looked on the box. They’re called “covercharge” and the colour is “nickel leath” (odd name). I found that they run half a size small. I am wearing them with my denim skirt right now, Nicole. They look great! I’m going to wear them with hose and skirts at night.

Ana, the heel is my limit and it’s more like 2 inches. It has a very stable chunky heel and the cushioning inside is uber comfy. My own insoles make them even more comfy! I’m shopping in these with my client today. That’s how much faith I have in these heels. (It’s a 4 hour shop though). They are on sale for $60. It’s a win.
