Pullover shopping ETA Update - YouLookFab Forum

I'm thinking of doing another order at Boden, they have many of their pullovers marked down a lot and I still need some new ones to wear with pants. Here's what I've come up with after eliminating the expensive ones and looking for what's left in my size. Do you think I should try one of these? If you think none of them are worth ordering, please say so too. I'd want to get one, no more than two.

Pic #1-3 are a wool mix, #4 is merino wool and #5 a cotton mix.

Can't place the order because I'm away until the new year and if I want it delivered to a different address the only payment option is credit card. I'll bookmark it and see if they'll have my size left later on. It's too bad!

I like the turtleneck style of #3! I like #2 also but I think it might be too similar to your existing blue pullover.

NO on #5. It says Christmas sweater to me.

I like the diagonal pattern in #2 on the sides, and the nubby, cuddly texture of #3.

Thanks Diana! I had a pullover similar to #3 once that I loved, so I'm favouring that one a bit. As for #2, that would be a replacement. The other one is cotton, not drapey enough and only has 3/4 sleeves. It was a cheap fix. And thanks for confirming my suspicion about #5. I just wasn't sure, because we don't really have a Christmas sweater tradition here.

Oh, #3! I had a similar one once, too, in red, sadly acrylic, which is why I purged it. I'd love to have one in a wool-blend... Wait, maybe I should get it? I definitely think it's worth a try!
Also: what christmas sweater tradition???

No to #5 as well. Definitely #2 - good color and you need a replacement. The rest all seem to be summers colors, so I don't know which one to advise. Good eye!

Thanks Jude! My old one was a bit lighter and more cropped, but I've worn it for a long while. Maybe "Christmas sweater tradition" isn't the best expression, but I've never seen the Christmas sweaters you sometimes see online here in retail, never mind on someone wearing them.

Thanks Alasse! Seems to be #2 and #3 then. I know that they are all fairly light, but then Angie told me a while ago I needed to lighten up my wardrobe and she's right (my coloring is rather fair).

Ditto 2 &3. 3 looks the fabbest.
You can really wear green, I think, though that #4 green may be a bit off. What I think is not as good is that its banded bottom is more tapered in, and I think you may like the slightly boxier ribbed bottoms of the other styles--for me, they slide over pants & skirts better, in winter weights. The intentional banded-bottom may work better with lighter fabrics and for structure over a gauzier-weight skirt.

I think #1 would look really nice with your coloring, personally.

I like #1 and #3. #2 seems a little blah, and the green in #4 seems off somehow.

Thanks IK! First vote for #1, yay! I thought so too - I look good in light grey and the pattern picks my hair color up. Now I'm confused again.
