Hi all, it's been AGES since I posted, but I wanted to share info about this item with anyone who is interested in wearing trousers. I had wanted some that were a bit more flowy, compared to the fitted ponte pants of yore, but I can't do super flowy with my body shape and style. These pants from Uniqlo are terrific, and at $40 they were an easy "keep."
Note: because of my thicker waist and middle, I had to size up one size, and they fit great, despite the fact that they are high-waisted. If I had wanted the really relaxed look in the images, I would have had to size up 2 sizes. I bought black but there are several fun colors.
