Just received this and put it on, no makeup, no special underwear for the photos. Nada. So the dress is carrying the ball!
No wrinkles out of package, woven tech fabric with smooth hand, not heavy, certainly not too light. Fabric goals. Not at all see through in navy colour and does not telegraph. Already think this is coming on all my travels.
It has princess seaming, very well done, provides a little structure. No zipper or closures. Pullover.
It’s a royal blue, or almost a purple. So in the navy family, but bright. A good Autumn colour, or a Winter would be lovely in this.
It has POCKETS. And a lot of swoosh. I’d dance in this.
It’s long on me, bear in mind that this is a large to accommodate wide shoulders and chest, and I am 5 feet tall. This is perfect maxi length on me. It would be midi on you taller ladies.
I tried it on with a scarf, a mesh cardigan, and a dark denim blue linen shirt. I will be wearing this with flats, but a pair of kitten heels would be pretty.
I think that a sweater or large blouse over this would be great for casual. Will be looking for a topper or two now.
Heading to Austin for the celebration, 90 degree heat and indoor/outdoor. Will let you know how it performs.
