PSA:Purple & red Bailey 44's on sale at Anthro! ETA:sleeveless one too

It fit TTS for me, even with my big hips. I am an 8, sometimes more on the bottom, and it fit me in a M. I am not ordering this one though, as it is too long for me. I am 5'3.5" and it is a LONG (below calf) midi length on me; I prefer my midis to be at or above my calf. It looks fab on people even a couple of inches taller than me though!

Ceit, you and I are the same height. I bet it would suit you. I have definite pear tendencies, so I balked at this dress at first (horizontal lines, hips, ack!), but it won raves from YLFers and my husband. I think it somehow is one of those pieces that looks surprisingly good on a variety of bodies. I really enjoy it, I just wish the wearing season for it here was longer!

I'd had the red one in my shopping cart ever since admiring it on Kari, but was vacillating because of the price. At almost half off it's a no-brainer. I just pulled the trigger, and can't wait to get it!

Absolutely, it would look great on you! It is one of the few almost universally flattering dresses out there, and is the best on tallish figures.

Oh! Bad news for me. I ordered a small on the purple. Based on the sizing comments, it might be too small. Maybe I can later exchange?

I ended up trying to order last night, and you get right to the end after entering payment info etc. and then it says it is out of stock, even though it still showed as available on the site. That is very poor UI design for a shopping cart.

Thanks for the heads-up! I ordered the red motif in a large. I'm a size 8 generally, but according to the reviews, it seems as though M or L would work.

I pulled the trigger too. I've been droolling over this dress for a long time, but the price was holding me back. I really like this longer version since I'm 5'-8"

Will be a great dress for fall with boots and a jean jacket. Can't wait to get it.

There must be some restriction with ordering to Canada then. Why would they say it is out of stock at the end of the checkout process, instead of just saying it at the beginning like it does with the purple one?

Zap, I think you and I are about the same size, right? I am normally between a S and M and 4-6 in dresses. I went with the M because of my apple tummy.

FYI, I follow a lot of Anthro bloggers and they are still working out the kinks in their new inventory system. Some items are fulfilled from stores, which means that they won't ship internationally, AND you may get a cancellation notice in as late as 1-2 weeks. Fingers crossed that everyone's orders come through!
