PSA: Price Adjustments

If you are so inclined, check your recent purchases for sales prices. There are a lot of sales on this weekend and I just got close to $60 in price adjustments.

The Aritzia T's I posted about are now on sale and they adjusted them for me. I have had a super good first experience with this company. Something I bought from Nordstrom last week also went on sale.

I know not every company does this, and some of you in other countries are surprised this is an option at all, but as long as it is, I'm going to do it!

Another timely piece of consumer information is the changing return window for various retailers. The great ones such as Nordstrom will pretty much take something back forever. But other stores are shrinking their return window, such as the Gap, whose window is now 40 days. And something I bought for my granddaughter at Forever 21 was not even given a refund -- store credit only for internet orders -- even though it was less than 14 days from the order to the return.

I imagine these policy changes are happening due to the proliferation of returns but I never apologize for a return, since retailers simply don't have the capacity to stock every size and/or item.
