PSA-Nordstrom coming to Calgary

The first Nordstrom in Canada is opening at Chinook Centre in Calgary on September 19th, which is a Friday. I'm so excited for it! Even if you don't live here, I figure this might be worth knowing in case anyone visits or if it improves our Canadian online shopping options (fingers crossed).

Also, while I should be at work on Friday, if there are any other fabbers in Calgary or nearby that might be interested in a mini-meetup that weekend to check it out and see how it compares to its US counterpart, let me know!

So jealous Nordstrom isn't coming to my neck of the woods until 2016. I'm curious to find out if it at all compares to the US. Would love it if it improved our online shopping experience.

Do you think it would be a good idea to go on the 20th? There's bound to be a ton of people and a big crowd--or is that part of the fun?

Alana, that's a good point. I think it might be fun so if it's just me, I'll probably risk it just because it's not too difficult/far to get to and if it gets overwhelming, I can just leave. If someone wanted to meet up at some future date instead, that would be fine too.
