Hi all, sorry to post & run - just wanted to share my find, in case it helps others!
@shevia nice to hear from you too!
@kkards Interesting to see it's popping up in so many places - this brand existed in my little English town for a while, but it's only recently that they re-entered my mind (whilst I live almost 6000 miles away, of course haha) I suppose they've improved their marketing game lately (what with sponsored posts etc)
@Angie Lovely boots - are they LKB or Peter Kaiser? How interesting re: shaft circumference - I actually originally read the reviews on the UK website, so is it possible that they differ from the international version (I haven't checked)? Have edited my OP & will also paste the link here, for anyone who's interested

(it seems, bizarrely enough, that you can still order from the UK website even if you're not in the UK? Not sure about that)
@Jane No worries! If you do order the SeaSalt boots, do report back & let us know how it goes. Smart idea to keep a bigger shor like that for the office - I keep a pair of corduroy/ suede flats in mine, since I'm too paranoid to wear them 'truly' outside in the rain
@Brooklyn & @Angie Wouldn't it be wonderful if all brands would list all measurements on their websites (e.g. not just the shaft height, but circumference too)? Ironically enough, I actually held off on buying this SeaSalt boot in brown for the opposite reason to Angie - I thought the shaft would be too tight on my calves, lol!
I suppose one person's review of 'too tight' or 'too loose' is fairly relative when you don't know that person's exact calf circumference/ height (not that I'm expecting them to share, of course). I suppose it would take more time for brands to give detailed measurements of every item, but surely this would save them money from fewer returns? The worst offender has to be Nordstrom - they take all that time to film 'product videos' where no one actually tries it on, so surely they could spend that time thoroughly measuring the item instead!
Anyway, I digress haha - hopefully I can find a more suitable dark brown boot for my wide calves, & hopefully someone else finds this SeaSalt boot a good fit for their own legs & reports back (to help out others)
