PSA: Long Blazer Suit alert...

I know everyone is saving up for NAS but I wanted to do a shout out to any long blazer lovers who need are looking for a possible long blazer suit. I posted on this awhile ago but the Theory Urban Selata jacket (which I bought in black) is available at amazon in uniform navy and charcoal. I own the Theory Urban Louise in black which I bought to wear it as a suit - it's a slim cigarette/straight leg which works well with this length of jacket. I found the Theory Louise pants in charcoal, black and navy at norstromrack.com The charcoal is actually a fabulous clear deep cool gray with a weave which gives it tremendous life (translation not a dead or muddy gray). Limited sizes but I thought it might be worth a look. I just thought it was a great suit for the money. PS: The color is true on the amazon photo (nr looks blue but it's charcoal)

I like the pants a lot, but no more in my size. BTW, did you try that AllSaints blazer? It's converting me to like longer jackets despite my short stature.

UmmLila - I saw you mention it on Ina's post. Can I ask what color exactly is oyster". Is it cream, gray? Is the color warm or cool? How is the quality and is it lined? Closure? Also the length looks about 29" is that about right? Sizing? I'm usually a 6 helmet lang, theory 6 or 8 if the jacket runs small. General sizing 4-6. I don't have an all saints close so I would have to order. But I was totally intrigued!

It is light gray. On the cool side. It is not lined -- it is a summery, lightweight piece. The fabric is textured in a way that looks a little wrinkled. You are correct that it is 29" long from the back of the collar. I usually wear 4-6 also, 6 in Theory and anything that is narrowly fitted in the shoulders. My jacket is a 4 and fits well.

AllSaints has a very good return policy and their shipment is very fast if you have Amazon Prime.

UmmLila - thanks for the info, that's tremendously helpful. I really favor blazers with lining since they wear better and I guess I expect it at that price point. Will think about it, very pretty but I may see what pops up for fall. But I really appreciate the suggestion. If you see anything long that you think is promising please keep me in mind!!
