PSA J Crew clearance extra 50% off

This happens to me every year...I get all hopped up on NAS and then J Crew runs their 50% more off of clearance prices and I just can't hold myself back from all that affordable cashmere and wool.

Tippi sweaters came in at $15-20, toothpick jeans $50, Cashmere sweater for $50 and I'm trying the Teddie pants for $40. The pants didn't come up as final sale, so I'm taking a risk on those since I should be able to return them. I know the fits of their sweaters well enough to feel good about my buys. There are still LOTS of great colors in lots of sizes.

Traci: The color Tippi you ordered is AMAZING. And it will look so great with the burgundy Teddies! I hope they work for you. The Teddies are my favorite work pant right now, by far. I tried the very popular NAS Halogen cropped flares, but I am returning them because for me they don't fit as well as the Teddies (that bar is quite high).

And thanks to this post, I just went and ordered those same burgundy Teddies, along with a grey shell and a black blazer -- all on deep discount. Whew. Pretty confident all will work very well for me, but now I need to step away from the keyboard.

I'm excited to try the Teddies. I've been off of wide leg pants for a bit because they turn out shapeless on me, but I think the structure from the cropped length may be perfect. I hope so. So many pretty colors!

It will be interesting to see how the Teddies fit you, Traci. I don't think of them as wide leg pants because they fit my thighs quite closely (I have, um, muscular thighs, and I am not at my thinnest) -- but if your thighs are thinner, or if you sized up, they might be wide leg pants on you. They are pretty shapely pants on me -- but with volume in the lower half, below the knee. But it totally works, with heels and with flats (esp pointy-toe).

And PS while I think the tan cashmere will look great with the burgundy, as smittie says, I was actually saying the berry Tippi will look great with the burgundy. Seems like you'll have some options if it all works!
