I know a number of you have been mulling over the JCrew merino sweater blazer. JCrew Factory has a very similar one, but in cotton. And, it's on sale right now for $54.
I tried on and bought the black one in the store this evening. I bought my usual size, and it has a nice, relaxed fit. Looking at the reviews, it sounds like some preferred to size down. Photo below, thrown on over what I wore to go see the new Bladerunner movie (which was excellent). Please pardon the chaos in the background: we flooded in Hurricane Harvey and are still drying out.

I also bought a JCrew Factory Teddie sweater in a lovely shade of orange. I sized up to get a slouchy sweatshirt-like fit. Looking forward to wearing both of these this week, as we are finally getting some cooler weather!
