PSA: Everlane T Garment Dimensions ETA: v neck cut

I have been planning to get a few Everlane T shirts this spring. However, I wasnt sure about the sizing chart for Everlane as I know it runs a bit small. I emailed customer service and they provided the garment dimensions laying flat. Thought I'd put it up for anyone else debating size.

Eta: this is for the v neck cut.

I would typically wear a M in say Gap or Jcrew tees. The Everlane I ordered L and they fit as expected - not too loose, not too tight. The price is definitely good!

They run small? I thought they ran big! I wear a S and it's perfectly drapey on me.

I guess I am smaller than I think I am. So weird.

Thanks! This is helpful. It actually looks like they run large to me. Most tees are cut very fitted as they are meant to stretch. Which specific tee is this for? Is it one that is meant to be loose fitting?

For ex, here are the garment dimensions for a normal Uniqlo tee (which runs more or less TTS IMO).

Also, what is "sweep straight"? Is it the hip measurement? It annoys me that nobody thinks to measure this, as that is always my problem spot.

i think they run TTS, but i have only bought 1 tee from them

I thought the regular cotton T's ran TTS, but I bought the first season's version. I'm not sure if they changed sizing.

The Ryan T's, which are my faves, seem to run slightly big. They are really nice and drapey. I bought both version 1 and version 2 of these T's, and the sizing didn't seem to change much.

This chart is for the V neck tee.

I got that they ran small from bloggers who said things like "i am usually a small but i bought a medium in the Everlane". My own measurements usually put me in a medium, or that tricky space between medium and large, on size charts but i have found i am going to certainly try the large here.

Diana, i am not sure what sweep straight means but the hem width would be a good guess. I see what youmean compared to Uniqlo.

Thanks Texstyle... I prefer a large in Gap and Jcrew typically so ugh this is why i am on the fence and got the measurements sent.

Sometimes I do order a L from Gap on certain tees Sarah so I think you'd be safe in a L at Everlane. I like my tees to be a little drapey, not fitted, but I like the shoulders to feel like they fit reasonably well.

I just ordered from them for the first time. A u neck t shirt and some other things. All of them seemed to run very large (though I kept them since the drapy/slouchy look seems to be coming back.)
