PSA: Eileen Fisher sandals - YouLookFab Forum

Hi all

Some of you may remember that I got some Eileen Fisher sandals in NYC. Quite a few forum members have a similar version. See first find.

These have turned out to be the best sandals I have ever owned in terms of combining style and comfort. I have worn them almost everyday this summer and received multiple compliments on them.

They are now on sale at Bloomingdales. I have duplicated them in the black plain colour. I also bought the gold espadrille version (this has a wedge heel).

Extra 20% off sale at the moment. Good score for any Australians or NZérs who are interested (or North Americans who like to shop early for summer)

I have triangle shaped tan marks on my feet I have worn them so often.

Must remember to put sunblock on the tops of my feet...

I would absolutely have sprung for light grey. Not sure black would work for me, but not convinced they wouldn't work, either, and that is a great price! Thanks for the notice.

Mr. Suz often orders from Bloomingdales sales, but I rarely even peruse the site. I need to!

I tend to look at Bloomingdales because they ship free here, and Nordstrom doesn’t. It makes such a big difference, especially if you haven’t actually tried it on.

How funny ! I'm an Aussie and visited NYC in December . Not joking that i bought the same pair in the pale pink . They are amazing- probably the most comfy pair of shoes I've owned . Hmmm maybe I too should duplicate . Thanks for posting !

Thanks, Brooklyn. I hesitate only because they are a sandal ( forbidden by my doctors). If the toe were closed. I would be all over the flat version.

Angie, I’m not surprised. They are a great shoe. Flat platform shoes and espadrilles seem to be very in here this summer, but the EF versions are more elegant than the versions that I’ve seen here.

Joy, there is a closed toe version that is also on sale at the moment at Neiman Marcus. You see I have been stalking EF summer shoes! But I think you might already have them. Love the bronze.

What a great sandal, I love the look and can see that they would be incredibly comfortable. I am always reluctant to buy shoes online because my low volume feet rarely fill out sandals. I am so glad you duplicated your black ones. I would be tempted to buy the bronze as well if I were you and knew what size to get, however I like duplicating footwear that works for me.

Bijou, thanks! I agree that shoes and jeans are the most tricky things to buy online. You know about PayPal refunded returns don’t you? If you activate it on your account they will refund the cost of returning an item that doesn’t work out. Still a bit of a hassle but it gives me some peace of mind if I really, really want to buy something that I can’t track down here.

Brooklyn - thank you, I did not know that! Thank you for letting me know because often the shipping to Australia is what prevents me from even bothering with buying online.

Oh great Bijou, I’m glad I helped! I’ve used it several times. It makes it much easier to think about buying shoes or anything heavy (where your mind starts calculating the $$ involved in sending it back if it doesn’t work out).

Oh, thank you so much Brooklyn! I have been wanting to try these out, especially for my trips (with students that I organize). I just didn't have a sandal for the 10 mile walks per day that easily happen in cities. Most colors were sold out in my size though, but I did get the black ones for some $88.00. Such a good deal! I do have black sandals that are somewhat similar and that I wear here all the time at home, but they are not for walking 6-12 miles. I am hoping these work out!

I tried them once in the Rack, they’re too narrow for me. Which was surprising to me. I do like the look of them
