If you're looking for dresses (and I know Rita is in her annual search and Diana possibly for wedding-related events). I see a ton of decent and well-priced options (all under $50 and most at $35) on JC Penney. I haven't shopped there in years and they've apparently ditched the one price no coupon concept (there is a $10 off $50 coupon now), but they have a nice assortment (including they now carry Joe Fresh). Online is much easier IMO since you can search and ship to store for free (my store is still a nightmare of disorganization but I went to check on some of the ones I liked online to see if they lived up to my expectations IRL. Some were not what I'd expected, others a pleasant surprise. I'd say it's worth a look).

I had never thought of JCP. Leave no retail stone unturned! And they have them in a wide range of sizes.

Thanks for the tip, Jeanne! I would never have thought to check out JCP. I don't even know where it is in the Boston area. I don't think I've been in one for more than a walk through in 20+ years. (And this is going to sound terrible, but the reason I've walked through it at all is that in the town where I grew up, you could always find parking in front of JCP even when the rest of the mall parking lot was full because nobody ever went to JCP. But I think I may have been missing out!)

oooohhh, i like them both very much! There is a JCP near me and I always avoided it because I felt like the clothes were just too "old" for me. Maybe because they've been around for so long....
But after seeing these dresses, it's certainly worth a look. I've seent eh Joe Fresh line asvertised and that looks much more modern than I'd expect from JCP. Thanks for enlightening us. maybe I'll pay a visit this weekend.

@Thistle the coupon is on their website - you can use the code SPEND50 online AND/or print one off for instore.
@Diana - I totally get it and too funny about the parking. It's the same at our mall.
@hedgiehog I've thought the same, but you just never know

I also saw our store is getting a Sephora next month which is sure to bring me in there more.
