Looking at Suz's posts about her J Crew cotton skirt with a cotton lining, I realized it was just the thing I needed for hot summer days: breathable, washable, but still polished. Turns out, a cotton skirt with cotton lining is a very hard thing to find. After some searching, I ordered these two self-print cotton skirts from the Gap (available online only) in navy and blush and they have proved to be just the thing:

They are a bit long on 5'4" me, but I like them that way as it provides extra coverage for when I sit on the ground cross legged (which I do quite a bit in summer). The self print adds interest, and the lining is a few inches shorter to let the sheer pattern peak through. At $30 CAD a pop on sale, they have already become workhorses. I thought I would share.
