Hands down, these are the best white jeans I’ve ever tried on. I worry about cellulite grinning through, and not an issue here. I even had on panties that are dark blue, and they barely show through either.
I snapped these up because my size will sell out. But I’m on the fence about keeping for a few reasons.
Pros- HEWI; comfortable, I have only one other pair of white pants in a Different cut; will look good with many colors in my wardrobe; wanted to add lighter colored pants to my wardrobe
Cons- would be better budget wise if bought in March; have the opposite of the keeping white clean superpower; am afraid I won’t reach for them because I have a mental block about wearing white bottoms.
The only major hurdle is that last con. I’m afraid I’ll talk myself out of wearing them each time I want to.I may be turning the corner on this issue, though.
Also, maybe skinnies aren’t the ideal cut for me in this color? It’s hard for me to assess myself in white bottoms objectively. But if this is a HEWI for you as it has been for me, get thee to AT.
ETA - I tried them with a whole bunch of stuff. I also try to couple of pairs of different shoes, do I neglected to pull out my tall boots to try the equestrian look with the red plaid. I am less sold on these at home, but that may be due to the lighting. Also, I think maybe I’d want to shorten them; see last pic. Also also, I already managed to smudge the leg, even though they stayed in the bag until I pulled them out tonight.
I realize that white bottoms constitute a statement for me, and then I’m not used to doing too many statement pants. (Occasionally I find patterns that look good.) That may be the source of my hesitance to embrace the style.
