Two pairs of Madewell Langford pants arrived at my house yesterday. They're on sale for $50 at Nordstrom. I tried a 25 in the tan (my "usual" size, if there is such a thing) and a 24 in the russet. I'm keeping the smaller size, and I'm very happy the red-brown fits. It'll be more versatile for me than the khaki/tan. These are a nice substantial twill, very soft, with a bit of stretch. The pintucks on the front provide a vertical line, for those concerned with leg-shortening. Oh, and for me, a 30-31" inseam, these won't need any hemming. They hit 3-4" inches above the ankle, at a guess.

A pair of Everlane wide-leg crops came yesterday too, but I'll need to size down in those as well, which means waiting 'til July, since the smaller size is waitlisted in all colors. ARGH. They fit very similarly to the Madewells, but a smidge higher rise, and if I do score a pair in July I'll need to hem them a couple inches shorter. They hit right at my ankle bone, maybe a smidge above. They are a very similar fabric as well, although they feel like they might be slightly more brushed and hence more linty --so maybe the bone or the blue is a better choice than the black.

Still hunting for sandals to go with them!
