My local art museum has an annual altered book show with a silent auction. I participated for the first time and made a necklace mostly out of found materials. The center of it was a book I formed from found metal. It even had a bookmark.

I'm happy-it sold for $75, and with a matching grant it brings the museum $150. The show was up in the museum for @6 weeks, so this was a big deal for me. My parents just visited, I was excited that they were able to see my work on display.
