I just caught up on the latest episodes, and thought I'd post.

Spoiler Alert!!!..……...................

The cocktail dress challenge was so disappointing! I loved Laurence's dress and thought it should have won. I liked Jenny's, but I only think it won because it surprised the judges that it came from her.
The Streeters challenge was fun. That jacket that they loved (was that Jenny's? I don't remember) looked sloppy to me. Too oversized for my taste. Dexter should have mixed the jacket- it looked better without it.
Anyone else watching?

I'm watching. I didn't think Jenny should have won either. But then, I often don't agree with the judges. The others are too long ago without looking back at the PR webpage.
Happy to discuss each episode here, but I often don't watch it for a day or two.

I've been watching. I also disagree often with the judges. Sometimes the things they like really astonishes me, the dislikes not as often. I did like that oversized jacket but I agree it was a bit TOO oversized. I liked the winning cocktail dress, although not sure I loved the placement of the sparkly bits. I agree Laurence's dress was really nice.

Like RobinF, I have not been impressed with the judges this season. They seem impressed by very odd details this time around. Although I generally wish I could dress in Laurence's clothes as my regular wardrobe, so I might be a bit biased...

I loved Laurence's dress too and was surprised she didn't win. I was also underwhelmed by the cocktail dress challenge. Usually that's an easy one for the designers.

I thought the colors of that oversized yellow coat were hideous - ugh yellow and beige. I couldn't believe how much the judges loved it. Maybe the colors looked better in real life?

I dislike when they have actresses or actors with no fashion resume as judges. I prefer when actual fashion designers are judges who can make more informed opinions.

I think the celebrity judges are just there to get some publicity. I pretty much ignore them.

Agree about the plugs. So many commercials and then we have more built into the show! Last night the runway was done with like a 1/2 hour still to go! Crazy!

There is so much advertising/endorsing/product placement built into the show, you just have to accept and ignore it.
Anyone watch last night?

I was sad to see Cornelius go with such a rough team challenge for him.......but his last week was terrible and I think it was just his time. I likes the neutral team best, but I also liked the blue. I was wondering how much the color influenced the votes from people on the street and was surprised the neutral team won that since blue is many people's favorite color.

Cornelius got the Tim Gunn save, so he'll stay. Has anyone ever seen any Heidi Klum clothing anywhere for sale? Not that I'm looking for it, just wondering where it is sold.

I was shocked that Tim Gunn saved him. Wondering if it was more a reaction to his being thrown under the bus or his work during the season.
I thought Erin's weird embellishments on the shorts the other week were so bizarre I thought she should have gone home. Although they take the whole season's work into account, I think, whether or not they make that clear.
New Yorkers are known for their love of black. True or stereotype, I don't know. Does that hold over to other neutrals? May have affected the choices. I was surprised to see the red team did picked all red fabric. Being NY, I would prob. have done a lot of neutrals with red.
Wonder what this week will bring?
