I know this is coming ages late but they finally got my size right on this Caslon dolman sleeve striped shirt. I really like the shirt but is it too much shirt for me? This is the smallest size and I think it fits right. Is it too much, too big, too long, or just right? If I keep it, any styling suggestions would be welcome. This shape is a departure for me.

Sigh. I feel like the big spanner. NOT on the bathroom - LOVE. But I do think that the shirt is too big/long for you - there's a lot of extra material towards the bottom. But I am insanely picky about such things, and maybe I need to get over it.

Modgrl I don't love the top but it may be because I'm used to seeing you in a different silhouette. Is it to wear as you have styled here for casual mostly? I'm not sure this is the best colour for you and it does hide your lovely figure. I'm not sure.

I really like the shirt on you, but pic #2 is what makes me think it may be too big for you, though it could just be the angle of the camera.

I'm on the fence about the top, but that might be because I personally have problems with banded bottom blouses. (I always find myself fidgeting to find that sweet spot where the band should be placed.)

See, I feel like if it were narrower, it would be too much of an IT shape. And I think the color is a nice rich one for fall.

I like the top, actually think they are sorta made to look this way...a bit~slouchy~You may even be able to later a tank under and pull it off the shoulder a bit:)

Votes and replies are split... still not sure what I'm going to do about this one... how would you wear it? Skinny's and tall boots? I'm not even sure if I have any dark wash bootcut jeans left but I think it would be nice with them. I'm not sure about L&L's. They're kind of too long for my MOTG days, I have to wear them with 4" platforms.

Awesome bathroom, and I like the top! Though I agree with AJ about having difficulty sometimes, myself, with dealing with banded bottoms like that. For me, the sweet spot can be hard to find, so I end up fussing with them. But maybe you are less neurotic than I am, so it won't be an issue :)?

I think that the top is cute....I suspect you are petite? I am as well, and usually if I wear something that could potentially overpower me (large jewelry, big prints, less fitted clothing etc), a heel makes all of the difference. I think this would look cute with a dark skinny jean and a heel for going out or with a casual skirt and wedges for a more casual look.

Love the top! The color is great. It probably wasn't a bargain, but if you like it enough to consider hemming it shorter by taking the band off the bottom, you might like the shape better. If it's snug enough around the hips to just stay where you put it, and a bit shorter, it may feel more flattering.
