Can't thank you enough Sally....this video really touched something deep within me.
I must be wiser than my years. I didn't have to wait to get too old to realize that 'being' sometimes trumps 'doing'. I spend many a days just 'taking in life' these days. I don't let pressure and tension and expectations get to me. I think I've truly understood what "living in the moment" really means....
I'm starting to spend more time enjoying the small things in life than waiting for something BIG, something SPECTACULAR to make me feel good about my day. It could be a cup a coffee (much like yours) or a glass of wine at lunch. It could be an hour of shutting off my computer and instead cuddling with the puppy. It could be switching off all devices and taking the afternoon off to just lie in bed and read a book (who has time for that on a busy work day, right?) Or could be a long walk once I switch off my computer for the day and feel like I can connect to the *real* me.
I feel much more at peace. I highly recommend that you ALL make a 'To Not Do' list. I sure have made mine
