I've noticed that too; but I don't think it's really accurate. I prefer to do my own price stalking.

Wow, this is kinda creepy ... Personally, I don't like it when the Internet knows too much about me. But there doesn't seem like there's a way to avoid it.

super creepy. As soon as I look at an item I find a pop up doing a price compare....I guess the only way to avoid it is to get rid of the devices.

Talk about creepy... I've had a company troll my tweets and try to apologise for their bad service that way... That really creeped me out, being stalked by a company...

The problem is it works on me! When a dress I saw on Shopbop kept coming up on the sidebar of other sites I kept going back to look at it again and again. I'm weak - must be strong ...

I hate being taunted by the items I want also. I can't have those rainboots, that dress and the 4 bags following me around the internet!!! And I certainly don't need Pinterest to tell me when it's on sale (I do my own stalking, thank you!). I installed a plugin called Ghostery (on Mozilla) that stops probably 95% of the lust objects following me around via ads.

I haven't noticed it but I do prefer to do my own price stalking. I just don't want marketers having that much information about my preferences, habits etc.

Honestly if I want it that bad depending on where it is, and how much it is I'll just buy it. I've had my feelings hurt more than once waiting for the price to drop on X only to find out once it got to an acceptable range for me it was no longer available.

So far, I don't think their price stalking is very accurate. So far I've only had it show up on one pin - I clicked through, and it was sold out on the linked-to site.
