Pretty Dress I Need Advice On

I really like this dress. I think sheaths work pretty well for me but was curious what my fellow YLFR'S might think of it for me. Please give me your opinions. Do you think this will work for me? I think it would look super with my navy capsule I am building.

Gorgeous dress Meredith - plus we all know you look STUNNING in green (your green tunic for example). I think it's worth trying on and will definitely work well with your navy capsule.

It is a beautiful dress! I saw it in person on Sunday. It was waaaaaay too long in the torso for me. The waist detail was down at my hips. If you are average height or taller, I think it would work well.

I'm so going to order this. I am 5' 6 1/2" so I hope it will work. I can't wear heels this high or afford this jacket but wouldn't these shoes and jacket look cute with it?

How wonderful that you actually saw the dress! I am 5' 6 1/2" tall so hopefully it will work for me. Is it pretty accurate sizing? I ordered it in a size 8 and I hope it works because sometimes in these types of dresses I need a 6 or even a 4.

I'm sorry I can't really accurately comment on the sizing. It is pretty long though. Check out where it hits on the leggy model. It will be below the knee for you. Perhaps shorten if you don't want a midi or wear it with your bailar's.

Oh, those emerald shoes are so pretty! One of the reasons I like sheath dresses so much is that they can double as skirts - definitely worth a try, especially if you like a small capsule. Rita raises a good question about which shoes you will pair with this, since you don't do high heels.

These are about the height I am looking at. I can go 2 1/2 maybe 3 if I really stretch it. I think the dress will hit me about 1 1/2 inches below the knee but we will see! Fortunately the shipping is free so if it doesn't work out I'll be heartbroken but not out any cash.

Beautiful dress, Meredith, and I'm glad you hit the "button" so your sheath will be on its way to you. I love Rae's idea to use a sheath dress as a skirt double is brilliant.

Why are those green shoes so familiar to me? Who makes them, because I feel like I've seen them before. They are very pretty and would be flattering to the feet! Nice blue jacket you posted, too, and this will be one good-looking capsule!
