so i bought t hese boots last winter at a discounted, though still wallet-stinging, price. haven't worn them...i wear blacks/blues/grays, not browns. though i have been planning some fall outfits with white jeans that might use these boots.

i bought these sandals this week. now that i have them, they also seem destined to be a closet orphan because they are too strappy for work, i wear mostly black and i feel like i'm walking on bare feet because of the nude color and the strappiness.

i just ordered these open toed shoes as a replacement for the mb sandal because it seems more substantial and they are super comfy. but now i am rethinking that decision because these don't seem as current or will have as much staying power as the mb sandals.

what to do?
return the boots to pay for one of the sandals?
which nude shoe? strappy sandal? nude open toe shoe? neither because it is almost fall?

maybe too theoretical until the shoes get here, but i like to be emotionally prepared, ya know...

My IPad is acting up so I haven't looked at your choices. I do hear you having some second thoughts, so I say...go with your gut. If you think they will be closet orphans, you may be right.

I think there is value in shopping now for the current season...taking advantage of preseason sales. You may not like the sandals when Spring 2015 fashions arrive in the store.

That is my take for what it is worth!!

All gorgeous shoes. But yes, it's a bit theoretical. What outfits are you planning with any of them?

I would probably leave the nude shoes and sandals for now unless you are absolutely over the moon about them and have outfits you are directly planning to wear that call for (or would be significantly enhanced by) nude ssndal like shoes.

Comfort is also relevant, obviously. If any of these has killer comfort to go with the killer looks, then maybe it's worth keeping. That kind of comfort is not easy to find in heels.

I guess if it were me, I would return the boots. You've had them for a year but haven't worn them, which means they're really not making you that happy. When you say you are planning some outfits with white jeans that might use them, it sounds as if you're just trying to use them because they're there, not like you really want to wear them.

As far as the two sandals go, I like the look of the strappier ones better. Can you exchange them for a pair in black? That would match your current wardrobe and make you not feel like you are in bare feet.

No outfit for the boots , which i have had for 7 months. Hard to wear color with my wardrobe.

Way nothing for the mb nude sandals--too dressy for work, i think. The nude shoes i can see for a meeting in florida this november then spring mtgs. Unlikely to wear this year otherwise unless we magically get a summer.

Unfortunately, both designers are made for my arches. I have the boot in black. These are all day go to meeting boots.

Will post more when i get the shoes--who new brown boots would be so problematic?

I would return the boots. If you have had them for 7 months the chances of them becoming a go to shoe are extremely slim.
The nude open toe shoes are beautiful. I think once you get them and can play in your closet you will gave a better idea.
