One of the things that helped me recover from depression and agoraphobia these past few months was online shopping. I know it sounds counterintuitive because you’re supposed to get yourself out of the house and back into a normal routine, but my self esteem was at its lowest after my hair loss. I found that buying things that caught my attention online and waiting for them to arrive created positive expectations and eventually even excitement. Trying on brand new items in the comfort of my own room and seeing myself in the mirror wearing new clothes, imagining myself going out in them… it really did help my motivation and self esteem. These scarves were a great bargain. I bought them on an app that mostly sells things from China at a very low cost and variable quality. I’ve been lucky so far that everything I’ve bough l, these scarves included, has exceeded expectations in terms of quality. The fabric is very soft and light, they fit comfortably, look just as they do in the photos, and are just as easy to put on and take off as beanie type hat. The flaps can be tied at the front, side or back of you head in a bow or simple knot or you can leave them down like in the photos. I’ll be making a thread in the WIW section so everyone can see how they look on a real human head instead of a mannequin.
Violet, you’re very welcome! I’m glad I could help.
