Pre SYC keep or return: comfy boots or clown shoes?

Just before SYC started for me, I got these super comfy Born boots as a replacement for some brown boots that make my feet and arches really, really sad. I just realized that the return deadline is approaching, so I thought I'd better make sure they look good on me... you guys probably remember that I have issues w/ my feet - do they look too big and boat-like here?

What's not to love! They look great with your jeans (adorable pose in pic #1 BTW), are a perfect shade of brown, fun height (I can picture them with brown opaques and a dress too), and I like that toe shape for them too.

Not big or boat-like. Should be comfortable too when Born.

I think they're fine - love the idea of them with tights and a dress, but they look perfectly good with jeans too. They do have a casual vibe, but that's fine with jeans and knit tops!

To be really picky, I would like a full-length side shot of you to see the boots' supposed "boat-like" feature. From pic #1 they don't look boat-like (but I only see some of your height).

The boots in general: like them! Sort of "granny with attitude" -- and I like that vibe. Like the color too.

Since they are pre-SYC, whether or not you keep them (I say "keep"), you are allowed to spend that money either on the boots (already done) or something else that needs replacing. B/c I said so... ;D

I like everything about these boots on you. They look classic, are an easy height to wear, and fit close against your legs. Also a great color. Keep and enjoy.

Keep! I am Team Chunky Shoe/Boot and I know you are too. I would even wear these with skirts for a casual rocker/grunge look, and add one of your glam tops to keep from being too '90s.

I was most concerned about how they look from the front. Something about my small ankles sometimes means that there is a huge difference between the ankle width and toe box width, which makes shoes look huge/clownish/boatish to me. Kind of like the lines of the shoe create one-point perspective lines that make my feet like they go on to infinity.

I bet you've never heard that one before!

Looks like the ayes have it! Thank you to everyone who chimed in; this was something of an agonizing decision for me. I really liked the look of my old brown boots, but those were strictly under-jeans-only, had zero cushion, and killed my arches after a short time. Born to the rescue!
