Last week, I met a man whose daughter had stage 3 lymphoma the day she was cast in a film. She did her chemotherapy, performed in the film and is well today, so I'm sending this story along to let your son know that better days are ahead.

Having had my own chemotherapy, I can tell you that these drugs, though powerful, do the job and get better and more targeted each year with all the research being done. Hugs to you and the family, Rute!

rute - I'm just catching up and saw your troubling news I'm so sorry that your son and you have to go through this. I will most definitely be praying for you all and hope that by catching it early the treatments will take care of it.

Be sure to take good care of yourself - rest (even if it means sleeping aids), exercise, healthy food, activities that reduce stress or build your ability to sustain stress so that you can be a source of strength for your son.
