My world collapsed, a lymphoma was detected in our older son.
I do not know how to survive to something like this!
He will do 4 months of chemotherapy, he's a strong boy, but I'm a mess!

Rute, you have my word I will be praying for your family and your son. I cannot imagine how you must be feeling but know that God will give you the strength to get through this and be a support to your son. May I ask how old he is? Sending your huge hug, lots of love and belief that all will be well. We are here for you.

A friend's girl was diagnosed when she was just under 3 year old. She's now beautiful, healthy teenager.

My son was diagnosed with a chronic bleeding disorder three years ago and my world collapsed. Please know that you have the strength to go through this difficult time. How old is your son?

Such awful news, Rute, you must all be in shock right now. I know things seem completely overwhelming right now, but you, your son and your family will get through this. He is 14 and he will start chemo on monday.
I've done nothing but crying, but I have to put myself together to help all the family.

it will be 2 series of chemo (1 month each serie with a break of 15 days between), then he will do radio also.

Oh how awful ! It's unbearable to see your child suffer - no wonder you are so distraught. Try to believe that he will have a good result - he's young and strong, and starting the treatment early enough. Take care of yourself too!

Oh, Rute, I'm so sorry for you and your family. I can hardly imagine how terrible news this is for you all. But I do believe that the treatment surely can help him and make him well again. My husband is a doctor, and he says treatments for cancer are better than ever, and it is no longer as dangerous as it used to be. Be strong, don't give up!
