Praise for Born loafers recommended by Angie

I have worn the Born loafers Angie recommended here for the first time today and was she ever right! They are possibly the most comfortable flat shoes I have ever had on my feet. They are even more comfortable than old YLF cult favorite Me Too Swan flats that I ended up getting 5 pairs of ( I am on my third now). So thank you Angie! My feet are very happy.

Are all the Born shoes this or similarly comfortable? I am looking for some flat oxfords and wondering if I should check out some of the Born models.

Awesome feedback! I have a pair of flat Born oxfords that are tremendously comfortable! In general the brand seems to be very comfy.

I have two pairs of the born arlettas ! They are super comfy but do run narrow. I can't wear born sandals because of the dumb stitching on the footbed. In closed shoes I just stick an insole and wear socks of some sort anyway. If they made smooth footbeds they'd be perfect.

I find Born shoes very comfy too. I am also quite partial to the B.O.C. by Born line.
I just got these oxfords and have only tried on but they are Born comfy

I love Me Toos, but many of them hit the widest part of my foot irritatingly after a few hours. I still wear them, just know they will hurt at the end of the day for me (my Right foot is a semi wide at the base of my toes so loafers in general hit a really bad spot on me.)

I used to have a couple pairs of Born boots that were fabulously comfy (apart from the fact that I had yet to discover my high arches). My experience was opposite of Diana's, though; I found them to run wide.

I like Born shoes a lot! I have two pairs of their shooties (taupe, and black) and also 2 pairs of their boots. I haven't tried their other footwear like sandals yet. I have been really liking "Nurture" shoes lately. And of course Clarks.

Angie, I got the metallic ones, since I was looking for a replacement for my completely worn out Me too bronze flats.

It looks that these shoes are on the good way to become one of those items that half of the YLF owns

Yes! I couldn't agree more. These loafers feel like little clouds of heaven on my feet. And they are beautiful, the metallic colour is a gorgeous shade that has both silver and gold in it. The weather hasn't been cooperating here, but I plan to wear them a lot as soon as it gets warmer.

Are the loafers wide like so many of the other Born shoes? I'd love a comfy pair like this, I'm just worried they'd fall off my narrow feet.

Angie, yes the color is beautiful! It is perfect for me, as I wanted something to go with gold, but I wear silver more often, and this works both ways.

Amy, I have never tried any other Born shoes so I can not directly compare. My feet are medium width and I did not size down as Angie mentioned some might need to and they are comfortably loose on me, not falling of. Sorry if this doesn't help much.
