Prada S/S 2021 show

So the fashion houses are doing video shows now.
The Prada one is the first one with Raf Simons & Miuccia. The vibe is very different. Reviews are mixed.
I’m not sure of the models holding many of the overcoats etc with their hands, can’t see the flow of the clothing
I do like the cape like raincoats
And all the candy colored shoes, though in the kitten heels, I wonder how it is to really walk in them. The very plus yellow carpet doesn’t quite show their stability

I have to admit the polka dot hole turtlenecks under the holed sweaters reminds me of Charlie Brown’s ghost costume.

They do a good job of not getting their pants caught under their heels wearing slings. Lol, my first thought. My second is: I’m gonna cut my hair like that one model: Bob in front, long in back.

I only watched the beginning so far. Very plain.

Thanks for the link, Anna. I’ve been looking at street style picks for ideas about what is coming down the pike fashion-wise. The look below is one I’m kind of obsessed by. Guess I’m not over my candy eye for red.

I have never been less inspired by fashion week since I started realizing it exists over the last 10 years or so. But that might be me not them. I was expecting more from this one, but perhaps I need to look with less grumpy eyes. Glad pointy toes are still a thing.

Interesting! I agree, it's hard to see the outfits in which the models are clutching a coat around themselves. I'm not too inspired by these looks, but I was intrigued by the cameras and how they staged the show for video. I think some of the models looked like they had pandemic haircuts. (DIY cuts, overgrown bangs, not-going-out-of-the-house styles.)
