Angie's post today was very timely for me. I'm getting better at knowing when something isn't right, but still struggle to fix it and usually just give up!
"Is it the length of the item?" Yes, this is the thing that always trips me up and still can't figure it out by myself. Give it your best shot, dearest YLF'rs.
I bought this skirt last year, love the watercolor print (I'm a watercolor artist), but haven't worn it like I should...
1) I always wear my tops out. My extremely short waist and broad shoulders make tucking very difficult...see what I mean. This is a breezy steel gray cotton type bow front top, with cute little covered buttons you can't see (from the GAP), I'm wearing a gold tone chain belt with it and thought my citron colored shoes go nicely, but if I'll be on my feet more than a few hours, these are my Fidji's and I think they are a pretty good alternative. Which looks better- tucked or un-tucked?
2) Another steel gray cowl neck top (also from the GAP), un -tucked, with and without a narrow citron belt.
3) To cover up it's a BF blazer or my Tahari dark denim type jacket.
Honest feedback and lessons appreciated!
