Sometimes I feel lucky! Today I went shopping for new booties for early fall. I've been lusting after a pair of light colored booties with a little heel for ages, but I've found very little. Too western, too expensive, too high heels and so on. Lo and behold, today I found a pair of booties in light grayish brown, suede, with stacked heels. They are by Hope, a Swedish brand I really like, but rarely splurge on. Thee booties are from the Spring/Summer collection and was marked down by 70%, so I really got value for my money this time. In regards of Angie's check list for off season purchases, I can give a resounding YES to everything:
- Is the item a “must have” or a “nice-to-have” on your shopping list? —must have (a big wardrobe hole)
- Is the item very hard to find? – yes (very, have been looking for months)
- Is the item perfect, or do you have (even minor) doubts about it? – perfect (leather sole, leather upper, perfect fit, color and style for me)
- Do you like to adjust your style a little or a lot from season to season as you experiment with new trends? — a little
- Is the item more “timeless classic”, or is it more “current trend”? —timeless classic (I think it will last a few seasons)
- Will you be able to wear the item within 3 months? — yes (from now on until November, then onwards as indoor shoes during Winter)
