I've worn these pants at this length for the past couple of years, but now suddenly the length looks wrong. Should it be shorter or longer? If shorter, by how much?

Also, I welcome feedback on the fit around my waist/hips. They were too big and I had them tailored but I think they are still a bit too wide for me. (Also post-tailoring they developed a weird misshapen outline on one side one of the reasons I changed tailors...) I'm not sure they can take another tailoring cut-cut-cut-sew-sew-sew...

I was so unsure that I didn't wear this outfit today. Still I love the paisley print and the color palette of these pants so would like to make them work...
