I think this is an unanswerable question, sorry! I tried to get pictures but I can't get the angle right and they just don't show what I need to ask about.
I need to hem the capris below. On me they don't hit where they hit on the model...they hit about halfway between knee and ankle. That elastic opening is a 14 inch circumference and my calves are 13 inches at the widest point, so even if they were shorter I'd still have to do something about the elastic. Plus with the ruched sides I think if the elastic fits they puff out too much.
So...total gear, not trying to reopen the Capri discussion, is there a PPL for bottoms like this? Should I hem to about where they hit on the model and just ditch the elastic? I don't want elastic around my calves anyway. Showing one photo to show why I can't get a good photo!
