I just watched this documentary on PBS about Iris Apfel. She's the 95 YO maximalist dresser who wears the giant round glasses. I thought it was very interesting. Her background was in interior design. She and her husband ran a textile business. She's not the kook I thought she was. She is a hoarder of designer clothes, though.
