I looked at your photos first and immediately wanted to vote for the old floral dress. SO fab. Wear it to the wedding!

That was my first reaction, too: wear that for the wedding! You look awesome in it, and it fits great, and the colors and formality are right... Spring for some new shoes, maybe, so it feels new to you. I'm a big fan of wearing what you feel great in.

B Oth dresses are really beautiful on you.

Thanks, everybody!

I've packed up the other stuff to return to Zappos, but the sandals are definitely staying, and I think I'll keep the VC green patterned dress too. I think it will be a nice piece to bridge casual-dressy occasions, and I think it even works well with a black jacket and black booties to get multiple seasons of wear.

I still have a couple of dresses being delivered to try for the wedding, so I'll give them a shot, but it's really good to know that I already have a solution in my closet in the form of my floral dress. I can wear that with the Rockstuds, a pretty clutch, and perhaps a new bracelet/cuff, and be good to go!

I could see wearing the VC patterned dress for the rehearsal dinner. I bet it would look good with my black LD Tuttle sandals.

Janet, the VC looks great on you and I love your floral dress. I wish you could try the VC dress Angie posted because I think it would look amazing on you too. I tried a pink floral VC and it fits like a dream, but my SO does not like florals so I'm returning it. I recently tried on a Ted Baker dress that I love and had the same experience with the fit. It was so long it was ridiculous and huge on top. In my dress search I came across this TS that I'm in love with and thought of you because of the beautiful teal color. I don't think you wanted sequins but it's such a pretty dress I wanted to share it.

Ted Baker always taunts me with beautiful prints and totally (for me) unwearable cuts. I feel a little better knowing that you had the same issues. That dress was laughably long -- just a really weird fit. I can't help but think it would look great on a 6' tall woman but I can't think who else could make it work.

That sequin dress is gorgeous. If it were an evening event, I would try something like that. I am trying this TS dress in these two colors, so we'll see how that works out.

I am glad you decided to keep the dress, Janet.

Colette always finds the greatest dresses in the world. I wish I knew her when I was hunting for wedding guest dresses .....

Janet, can't wait to see the lace TS dresses on you.

Sterling, thanks for the shout out, I LOVE dress shopping!
