Potential new jacket - keep or return

Danier is the worst store...for my budget. Every time I walk in I have to resist the urge to buy a new leather jacket...and sometimes I fail miserably like today.
I was eying and trying in this jacket for several months. At first it was full price so no go. Then it went down 60% - still mulling over...However today they have another 25% off and I succumbed!
I was drawn to this style the first time I saw it and it is definitely not basic. So these are the questions:
1. is it a 10? For the price nothing else but 10 will do.
2. I have a dark brown leather jacket already (#6). This one is more taupe color, lighter. Do you think they are different enough in color to justify another one? It is very different in style but color wise?
3. Do you like it open? closed?
#1 - open
#2 - one button undone
#3 - closed all the way
#4 - back view
#5 - 2 buttons undone
Looking at the pics it looks like it bunches in front but it does not: this is the flash effect as the leather has slight sheen.
I have 2 weeks to decide - please help me!

Oh, wow Sveta, the fit on that is absolutely fierce. Your jeans aren't bad either!
It's beautiful, and very, very different from the one you already own (even if the colors are both in the brown family).

I love it. I think it rather suits you! But let's see what the others think...

And I think the two jackets have a very different feel.

If you get the new one and then don't wear the old one (but knowing your love of leather, that is unlikely) you could always sell the old one.

I hear ya about Danier. I discovered it recently while vacationing in Vancouver and yes, my wallet was lighter when I left. I think the new jacket is great looking - very different and edgy!

Suz, there is no worry I won't wear my old brown jacket, I love it. I am just trying to cover my bases here. i already told myself that if I keep this it will be my early B-day present to myself. The thing is that I don't really need this jacket but I sure want it!:-)
I also cannot believe that until 1 year ago I did not own a single leather jacket in all my life - and now I have 2 jackets and 1 trench, this might be 4th...

Great jacket and a great fit! I think it's very different from your current #6 jacket.

This new one looks more like outerwear and the other like indoor wear.

I love the way you styled the new one with the black top underneath -- very nice proportions.

Sara, this new one is definitely indoor wear too - well, it can be worn outside too when it is mild, it is not warm and the leather is thin. This is actually what I wanted - indoor leather jacket.

There you have it. You *need* it!

Seriously, though I was going to ask you if you have a long enough "leather jacket season" to warrent it....but hearing that you will use it indoors changes things. So do you have a winter coat that will fit over it ok?

Seriously it is as fitted and thin as my brown jacket and I wear it under all my coats.

Sveta this is stunning and the fit looks perfect. I see this as a bit of a statement piece and it's so different to your other jacket I don't think that should be a consideration. I think you have to keep it.

Hmmmm, yes, it does fit you like a second skin. And I bet it smells divine.

And sleeves have knit inserts - very comfy!

I think it's gorgeous on you and because of the animal print and the asymmetrical closing, it's quite different from the other jacket you own. I think it looks best closed, so this may be its only limitation in your wardrobe. Otherwise it's a 10plus...

Sveta, I would never be able to pull off a jacket like that, but it's so awesome and so very you. It fits you perfectly from all angles and the color is perfect for your hair and skin. It's very unique and I much prefer it to your other jacket. A statement leather jacket unlike any other and a style-defining piece of your wardrobe. Definitely keep!!!

Definitely different enough! And the snake print is so current-yet-timelessly-edgy. It's really gorgeous - you'll regret it if you don't keep, I think. I'm glad I don't have that kind of a store near me, or I would be broke!

I vote keep, it may also be brown like your other jacket, but this one has a fun print and assymetrical hem, which make it different enough for me.

It's a KILLER jacket for sure....but why is it pulling across the bust in #5? Do you need to size up?

Sveta, this is a very nice jacket! With its asymmetrical front panels and detailing, very original. What's more, the colouring is fabulous on you. It is nothing like the other jacket (6) because they are 2 different colours. This new one is warm, the other one is cool. Both fit you, but the present one has a special something that makes you come even more alive. At at 60% + 25% off, at Danier of all places.... excellent deal!

I think it's beautiful and looks amazing on you, but my only hesitation would be if you might tire of it because it is so different with the asymetrical front....if its something you are pretty sure you'll use long-term and get your money's worth from wearing, then I'd keep it...

Angie, it is not tight across the chest at all. Next size was way too big. I don't know if this is a trick of light or does it really pull across.. I will try it on again tonight and look with a critical eye at the fit. Thanks!

Goodness that's one cool jacket Sveta! I like it best open (#1) and partially buttoned up (#5) but definitely check if it's actually pulling at the bust when buttoned that way. This jacket is a totally different vibe than your other one, so I'm afraid I have to enable you
