I promise that this is my last post this evening on this topic Another item Angie has suggested for the cocktail wear capsule is a dressy maxi skirt. I have had this skirt for years and i think I wore it grand total of 2 times. I have kept it thinking it would be useful for exactly this type of situations, but am not sure if it is dressy enough. I love the shape, but the material is not-so-dressy; a cotton/rayon blend with some nice texture. I have tried dressing it up with with a sparkly little sweater and glitzy bracelet ( needs different shoes, obviously). Again, would this work, dressy enough? Unlike the other items I posted, this skirt has not other use, so if it does not work I would shorten it to a midi and wear in other settings. I have tried to include a photo of the texture but it did not turn out that well which I apologize for. I need a better camera at some point.
