A recent post, about being fickle regarding new purchases that you loved at the time and now don't like, had me thinking. I think that I made my recent purchases with a need and use in mind. I'm hoping I'm shopping smarter now. I pulled out everything I bought since coming here (2 months maybe??) and found it interesting. Mostly that they are all neutrals when I've been on a big color kick lately.

#1 I went from no flats to 3 pair.

#2 I went from no skinny pants/jeans to one of each.

#3 I had no longer, flyaway, open front cardis and now have 2.

#4 I went from no short sleeved jackets suitable for skirts and dresses to 2.

The others are just random - leggings, a cinch belt, and a boatneck tee.

Will they stand up to the test of time? Did I truly fill holes and will they be workhorses? We shall see . . . I am very curious to find out myself! So far they all still have that new 'lustre' about them so to be fair I'd have to wait a few months.
