I actually like the blouse better than the sweater and it looks great on you! Also I think it maybe more versatile than the sweater in mixing with bright pops of color like you have.

I like the silk blouse. I think it's an interesting piece for more 'conservative' capsule or occasions when worn on its own. As a layering piece for every day / more casual capsule I would like to see it work with such bright, cheerful pieces as the cobalt jacket which seem to work better with your skin tone.

Nice hair cut! I am definitely of the mind that print hides a multitude of sins. So worries about pattern on the belly should melt away since pattern there flattens everything out. 2 & 3 are my favorites. I love the design and fit in sweater #1 but I have a preference for higher contrasts. I think these work -- especially the silky blouse I love how it reads gray although it's black and white. Great finds.

Oohhh, the hair cut is lovely! Did the stylist straighten it? You have natural waves, yes?

You know, I feel the same way you do when I've tried on tops that have dark raglan sleeves with a printed body. Although I don't dislike #1, I do think you can do better. I've been on the lookout for a solid dark body and lighter raglan sleeves with or without a print. Haven't found one yet unfortunately.

I'm not sure what it is about the blouse in #2 that is throwing me off...maybe it's the high neckline in combination with the closely spaced print? IDK.

Well... I popped over bc i was wortied you had a terrible experience. But no...phew! Hair looks great i am oversizing my sweaters right now bc i find i shrink them a bit in the wash and the extra size allows for longer wear. The b&w top is fantastic. B&w items have been huge workhorses for me this year and i see this working for you as well!
