Post NAS Exchanges?

Just wondered if others had the same experience...I ordered the KC leggings in two sizes, xs and s. The small fit best, so I kept that one, and figured I'd exchange the xs for the larger size so I would have two pairs (assuming I was going to get a lot of use out of them come fall and winter). I got charged full price when I went to exchange it -- I figured it would be an even exchange. Just curious if that was the norm?

I have no idea, but I would have thought it wouldn't be a change in price, since it's an exchange?

I ordered a pair of black dress trousers during NAS and was sent the wrong size. When I went in to the store to exchange, they did two steps ~ first, they processed the trousers as a return and then re-ordered the correct size for me. The SA did put in the NAS sale price, I am assuming because it was a store error. So it wasn't a straightforward exchange. I guess that is what they did for you?

Did you ask them at the time how it worked?

i did a size exchange in store, not their error. like sparky, it had to be done in 2 steps. a return then a repurchase at the nas price. i did it for a leather jacket that will be mailed to me and a bra, the right size went home with me that day.

i expressly asked for the nas price for the leather jacket and the sa reassured me that i would get that price since it is a size exchange.

Seems like a store or sales associate error. I'm almost 100% sure that when you exchange a NAS item, the sale price is honored. I'd call CS and see if they can credit back the difference.

Hahaha, that would have been smart of me, yes? I was in a rush, and returning several things at the time...I thought I saw the $49 ring up on the register, but I just figured, oh, I'm sure the sale price has been computed, I'll check the slip later...As it happened, I wasn't able to do my exchange til after the sale had ended. It's not the end of the world, but if it's a store error... Perhaps because there was a size difference (not their fault) and it wasn't an exact, exact exchange (i.e. damaged merchandise, same size) I wasn't able to still get the sales price.

I suppose I'm also asking so that I'm more prepared for next year's sales. I was interested to learn about the free alterations during NAS in another YLF thread, so just trying to add to my knowledge of how things work!

I forgot to mention that I made my exchange after NAS was over. I think you should have gotten the sale price. They might be able to correct this over the phone; you might not need to go back in person.
