Possibly the last purchase for months pre-SYC

I went out on a limb and got one of those convertible type sweaters http://www.victoriassecret.com.....earch=true and a possible green sweaterdress contender http://www.victoriassecret.com.....earch=true in one fell swoop. Victoria's Secret had sent me one of those mystery gift cards with my skinny cord order. Today was the last day to redeem and sweaterdresses are 30% off. The convertible is cotton (yay) but the dress is a mix of wool and acrylic. Hope it's more wool lol. So, if it works out, this is it baby!

Oooo - I hope you like them. Victoria's secret gets a bad rap, but I was pretty happy with the quality of a cotton sweater or two I ordered earlier in the year --- I should have sized down, but the cotton quality was good, unlike the silk, cashmere, and merino I tried.

I can see you wearing that sweater dress and I really love the idea on you. I don't mentally see many people pulling it off, but on you I think it would flatter and look tahoe sophisiticated!

These will both look great on your figure, Mo. That sweater dress is gorgeous. Maybe I need to take a gander inside Victoria Secret. Do they carry clothing in their mall stores? From the window displays it all looks like underwear.

My sister gave me a version of this type of sweater when we were in Boston, though I'm not sure it's the same thing exactly.

thanks gals, I'm excited and hopeful they will both work out. Vildy, the pattern caught me eye as well. Not the same old cabled sweaterdress. Elly, I know what you mean, you have to be selective, but some of it is really decent quality stuff. Claire, I think it's only undies in the mall. The clothing is often Moda intenational or London Jean brand sold under the VS umbrella. I'm finding sizing down is smart. The first red sweater I tried in a small was pretty big, so I tried this multiway in an xs. Small for the dress, though. I don't want skintight! Una, I'll show you mine if you show me yours

Mo, I hope these pieces work out for you. The color on the sweater is especially pretty. Hmm, I think I was given one of those convertible sweaters and didn't know what it was. How do you get it to stay after wrapping?
